Aside from creating popcorn-worthy television content, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise all have one goal: to help their contestants find love. And Bachelor Nation has been on a roll lately, with lots of marriages and engagements. Taylor Nolan and Derek Peth at the latest pairing to get engaged.
Nolan made her Bachelor Nation debut on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor, while Peth previously competed on The Bachelorette to win the heart of JoJo Fletcher. Both were cast for the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise, which is currently airing on ABC. According to a report by People, the duo got engaged while taping an aftershow on Wednesday.
Nolan and Peth hit it off as soon as they met on Bachelor in Paradise. On Tuesday's episode, however, the couple hit a rough point. As the pair discussed their future, Nolan expressed concerns about continuing the relationship after the show. She even teased the conversation on Instagram, sharing a photo of the two and writing, "Will I accept his rose?" Since then, though, things have obviously resolved, especially considering the fact that she accepted his proposal.
This isn't the only plotline that's making news from the latest season of Bachelor in Paradise. Earlier this month, the show aired the wedding of Bachelor Nation alums Evan Bass and Carly Waddell. The couple's ceremony was officiated by host Chris Harrison. "The love from Bachelor Nation has been overwhelming and we are so grateful to all who helped make this day amazing," they shared.
