The match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor wasn't the only highly-anticipated event in the UFC world on Saturday. As it turns out, that's when Ronda Rousey and fiancé Travis Browne tied the knot! UFC president Dana White revealed the wedding date in a recent interview, and Browne just made the announcement official with an Instagram from the big day.
"What an amazing day," he wrote, gushing about the experience. "She is so perfect in every way! She makes me so happy! She is my other half!" His message references his new wife, and the accompanying image shows the two side-by-side, holding hands in their wedding attire. From the looks of it, Rousey was dressed in a sleeveless, embroidered wedding dress while Browne wore a casual ensemble with a foliage garland draped over his shoulders.
Photographer Michael Mardones also shared a 'gram from the wedding. In it, he's seen posing with Rousey, who's wearing her dress and veil. "Congrats to Ronda and Travis. Incredible wedding. Blessed and thankful to have been there for it," he wrote.
Prior to the wedding, Rousey revealed that the couple would be getting married in Hawaii. "He's Hawaiian," the fighter said while explaining their destination choice. She also revealed that the pair was planning to throw a backyard bash. While describing the affair, she deemed the theme "Mexican Corona party."
