Drew and Jonathan Scott are quite the romantics! It was formerly reported that the HGTV twins were planning a surprise for their parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Now, a correction was made (it was actually their 51st) and details from the event have finally been revealed! The dynamic duo took their family to Scotland for a loving celebration, reports People.
Drew, Jonathan, and older brother J.D. accompanied their parents for the sentimental event. Drew's fiancée, Linda Phan, was also in attendance, as were the partners of Jonathan and J.D. The trip doubled as a surprise vow renewal, which J.D. seems to have officiated. "They had originally eloped," Jonathan previously shared, "so they never had a real wedding." The ceremony occurred at the remains of St. Kentigern's Church, where the actual Braveheart allegedly wed. The party really committed to the culture, with the men adorning kilts. Jim Scott, the twins' dad, was originally born in Scotland, which is why they chose the country.
A few months ago, Drew also shared with People that he's considering hosting his own wedding in Scotland. We know that he definitely wants a destination wedding, but the exact venue has yet to be decided.
Head over to People for a closer look at the trip, and get excited for Drew's upcoming nuptials!
