Stevie Wonder is officially a married man! The iconic performer said "I do" to longtime girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy last weekend, and although the couple kept news of the nuptials quiet, they spared no expense for the stunning celebration.
People reports the duo tied the knot at the Hotel Bel-Air over the weekend, and that the event featured a star-studded guest list. Other details that made the cut? Some pretty incredible floral décor, and string lights to lend a romantic vibe to the entire wedding.
An Instagram post from background vocalist Marqueta Pippens, which has since been made private, included details from the day, including an awe-inspired butterfly release during the ceremony and a collage of smaller snaps from the event. "Had a ball and was honored to be a part of Stevie Wonder's wedding," the caption read, according to E! News.
While previous reports suggested the 25-time Grammy winner intended to included his children (he has nine) in his wedding party, we're still waiting on a sneak peek at the group's style choices. "Family is very important to Stevie," a source shared with People. "And all of his kids were involved in the wedding."
Other participants at the celebration are reported to include Babyface, who sang hit song "Whip Appeal," as well as Pharrell Williams and Usher, who also performed at the reception before Stevie himself (who also recently sang at Rory McIlroy's wedding) took the stage to sing to his new bride. We're hoping he pulled out one of his classics! Maybe "I Just Called to Say I Love You" or "You Are the Sunshine of My Life"? Either way, we're sure the moment was unforgettable!
