Is there anything not to love about Julianne Hough’s wedding to NHL star Brooks Laich? Not only did the gorgeous celebration feature a star-studded guest list and beautiful décor, it also happened to showcase some pretty incredible fashion decisions—and details that are nothing less than magazine-worthy.
For her big day, Hough turned to Marchesa for a custom wedding dress, which E! News reports cost approximately $20,000, while her husband stepped out in a classic black and white Brooks Brothers tuxedo. And not only did their fashion decisions make a statement, so did the couple's entrance to their wedding ceremony.
Both Hough and Laich arrived at the ceremony space via boat just before the beginning of their 6 p.m. event. Their reception was held nearby, but the other major "wow" moment from the day was definitely the fireworks display that followed the evening's agenda of dinner and dancing. "At the end of the night, they shot fireworks over the lake," a source shared. That final touch alone is reported to have cost between $10,000 and $15,000.
The only detail that didn’t quite go according to plan? The party bus tasked with transporting the bridesmaids and groomsmen to the reception. After making a bad turn, the bus ended up with tire damage and in a ditch, ET reports. Hough's brother, Derek, tried to make the most of things by jokingly getting out to push the bus back onto the road himself, but the wedding party was ultimately shuttled to the reception by other means.
Fortunately, it looks like the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch! It certainly sounds like a celebration to remember!
