Bachelor in Paradise alums Carly Waddell and Evan Bass tied the knot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, last weekend, and even though we've already heard all about the Bachelor cast-packed reception and the couple's celebrity-status wedding officiant, we're finally getting more details on one of the most important parts of the whole day: the bride's wedding dress.
For her seaside nuptials, Waddell wore a strapless fit-and-flare wedding dress by Israeli designer Idan Cohen. The chic nude gown featured delicate white embroidery and applique details on the skirt. The "Mercedes" dress debuted as part of Cohen's 2017 collection and was originally styled with a shoulder cover. In keeping with the vibe of her romantic beach wedding, Waddell decided to skip the additional fabric in favor of bare shoulders.
Cohen himself took to Instagram to post a photo from the couple's ceremony, sharing a snapshot of Waddell and Bass holding hands while Bachelor host-turned-wedding officiant Chris Harrison spoke. The shot shows off the gown beautifully, and offers a glimpse at Waddell's equally elegant (and beachy) braided hairstyle.
"Everything happened for a reason," Waddell previously said of her reality television show pathway to love, according to People. "It's been a long journey for me in Bachelor Nation, but I would do it a thousand times again. Because the next part is going to be bliss." She also added of her relationship with Bass, "We have great communication. It's what we had as friends and it's what keeps us in love."
