Kelsea Ballerini and fiancé Morgan Evans have kept pretty low-key after announcing their engagement. Now, the couple is finally spilling on wedding plans, and the news was worth the wait. Ballerini spoke with E! News in Nashville while attending the CMA Festival and dished on what she hopes to have on the big day, as well as how far she's gotten with planning.
First and foremost, the pair will wed before the end of 2017. "It's something to look forward to at the end of the year!" shared Ballerini, who's already picked a date. The singer has also selected her location, but would only share that it won't be in Nashville. "The whole wedding will be pretty untraditional," she added, "so I think that having a long, white dress is the only traditional part we will have." But to offset the classic bridal look, she hopes to sport two other outfits as well. Her wedding dress has yet to be chosen, though. "I've seen a few that I love so I'm sure we'll get that one that will be awesome," she explained.
As for wedding-day no-gos? Ballerini made it clear that wedding crashers won't be allowed (sorry, fans), and you won't be seeing any of her exes at her nuptials. In addition, the country star is anti-bridal veil.
Ballerini and Evans got engaged over Christmas after over nine months of dating. When Evans popped the question Ballerini took to Instagram to share the happy news. We look forward to seeing how the busy pair interpret nontraditional (a colorful bridal outfit, perhaps?), and we wish them luck during the rest of planning!
