Mom knows best! Ross Naess, son of legendary singer Diana Ross, is set to marry fiancée Kimberly Ryan in just three weeks, and the big day will be made even more special with a performance by the groom's mother.
Page Six reports that the couple will tie the knot in June and the celebration will be a "bohemian" affair where shoes are optional and friends and family will spend the weekend "living in tents." If that's not a festival-inspired wedding, we don't know what is!
While that all sounds great, what we're most excited about is the impending performance by Diana Ross. She famously sang when one of her other sons, Evan Ross, married Ashlee Simpson in 2014, and took to the stage again when daughter Chudney Ross married Joshua Faulkner in a four-day celebration in Hawaii in 2015.
There's no word on where Naess and Ryan will marry, but it's certainly going to be a family-filled bash. While the groom's mother is the only confirmed performer, we're sure his musical extended family will want to get in on the fun. And as parents to one-year-old son Leif (and have another little boy on the way!), we're sure celebrating family will be important on the wedding day.
One thing's for sure: The couple could not be more excited for their upcoming nuptials. Both the bride and groom have been sharing photos on Instagram as they get ready for the big day. Earlier this month, the bride-to-be enjoyed what looks like a beautiful outdoor bridal shower with friends and family. If this is any indication, the wedding itself will be just as special.
