What's a wedding without a little music? Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin said "I do" to longtime girlfriend Adia Kuzma last weekend, and the couple celebrated the big moment with a reception packed with fellow NFL stars and a little bit of Ja Rule.
The happy couple hit the dance floor for what may have been their first dance to Ja Rule's hit, "Put It On Me," and there's an Instagram video from linebacker Sean Weatherspoon to prove it. The lyrics include the line "Where would I be without you?" and if the newlyweds' dance floor enthusiasm is any indicator, they fully embrace the sweet sentiment.
Meanwhile, the groom himself shared his own snap from the day, this time of he and his wife sitting down for their reception dinner amid some pretty impressive centerpieces and a giant sequined backdrop. "Me and my best friend!" he wrote in the caption. "I love you @adia_kai!! #ForeverandAlways #MACtrimony17." How cute is that?!
Previously, Maclin shared his thoughts on wedding planning and married life in an offseason press conference, and even fielded a question about his role in the planning process. "Saying yes to everything," the groom-to-be quipped, before getting serious about the event. "I've got a great fiancée and I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her."
As for his thoughts on marriage? They're equally adorable. "It's an exciting time, to start your life together with somebody," the football star said. Maclin and Kuzma definitely have the right idea! Congratulations to the newlyweds.
