When you're Beyoncé, every day is your big day.
When you're Beyoncé, pretty much every day is your big day, every red carpet your aisle. The 22-time Grammy-winning artist commands the spotlight and has rocked many an award show, performance, and after party. And her penchant for wearing wedding dresses and other white gowns has only made her stand out more.
Take this image from her music video for "Apesh*t," a song on her joint Everything Is Love
album with husband Jay-Z. In the new video, Beyoncé wowed in a long-sleeved, A-line, and asymmetrically ruffled bridal design by Stephane Rolland. (The gown's price tag matched its aesthetic drama: It cost around $140,000!) Or, consider the 2017 Grammys. Though the star wore gold instead of white, her Peter Dundas beaded dress with a matching veil looked absolutely aisle-ready.
Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, once said her daughter regretted her official wedding dress—a strapless style designed by Knowles herself. While she's since had a do-over (she renewed her vows with Jay-Z in a Galia Lahav wedding dress), she still can't seem to get enough of trying out new bridal looks.
Maybe she loves wearing a statement dress—or perhaps it's because she just knows white is her color (she would be right). But thanks to wedding-inspired hues and bridal-esque embellishments, the singer seriously seemed to glow on all of these occasions. And though they weren't actually weddings, Queen Bey slayed like a bride—and inspired brides-to-be everywhere. See all her best wedding-worthy looks, some of which she snagged straight off bridal runways.
2017 Grammys
Beyoncé's Peter Dundas dress at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards may not have been white, but it was definitely bridal—especially when paired with a matching veil. She wore the beaded gold gown during a showstopping performance of songs from her album Lemonade, then later to accept the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for it.
2016 Country Music Awards
While she opted out of appearing on the red carpet, Beyoncé gave her fans a peek at her ensemble for the CMAs on Instagram: an embellished Zuhair Murad gown.

And when she took the stage to sing "Daddy Lessons" with the Dixie Chicks, Bey changed into a showstopping gown that combined two major bridal fashion trends: sheer illusion details and statement sleeves.
2016 Video Music Awards
With its all-over beading and feathery fringe, the Francesco Scognamiglio gown Beyoncé wore for the VMA red carpet could be beautiful on a bride—with or without the angel wings. Plus, her date, daughter Blue Ivy's look is giving us serious flower girl inspo.
2016 Video Music Awards
To accept the Video of the Year award for her hit "Formation", the star donned an honest-to-goodness wedding dress: from Yolan Cris's Spring 2017 bridal collection.
2016 Wimbledon Tournament
Leave it to Bey to slay at a sporting event—in a ruffled military cape dress from Self Portrait. How chic would the short dress be for a bridal shower or casual courthouse wedding?
2016 Grammys
Once again, Beyoncé turned heads in a bridal gown at a non-wedding event: this one the Grammys, where she presented in a sheer white Inbal Dror Fall 2016 gown with thigh-high slits.
2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party
The sleek, long-sleeve white column dress B debuted at Vanity Fair's 2015 Oscar party was actually a bridal design by Stella McCartney.
2015 Grammys
This caped Roberto Cavalli creation had Bey looking like a legit angel onstage.
2014 Grammys
And a year before, the singer stepped out in one of her most iconic looks to date: a curve-hugging illusion gown with definite bridal potential by Michael Costello.
2014 On the Run Tour
Why not wear an Elie Saab bridal jumpsuit—veil and all—while performing on tour?
