Ben McKenzie Dishes on the First Time He Met His Fiancée Morena Baccarin

Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin's relationship is nothing if not a classic Hollywood love story. The actor and actress met on set, hit it off, fell in love, welcomed a child together, and are planning to tie the knot. But these two didn't get together after meeting for the first time. In fact, during an appereance on The Late Late Show with James Corden McKenzie revealed that he actually didn't remember his initial encounter with Baccarin. When asked if they first met on the set of the televesion drama Gotham (where McKenzie plays James Gordon and Baccarin as Leslie Thompkins), the actor revealed that he thought they did, but his now-fiancée told him otherwise.

McKenzie said that while talking on set, Baccarin mentioned that they had actually met before-something that he forgot. Where and when? On the set of McKenzie's hit show The O.C., of course, years earlier. "I apparently blew her off," McKenzie said during the interview. "So I'm thinking, 'What kind of idiot would blow off this gorgeous, beautiful, sophisticated, intelligent, successful woman?' Then I thought of what kind of boy I was at 25, and [I was] that kind of idiot."

Clearly, things were different the second time around. They officially started dating in 2014, welcomed a daughter, Frances, together in March of last year, and announced their engagement eight months later. There's no word of what their wedding plans are just yet, but we'll be sure to keep an eye out!
