It's not easy to get through the private gates of Kensington Palace—unless you're Meghan Markle, that is. On a normal day, access to the London palace, which houses royals including Prince Willian, Duchess Kate, and Prince Harry, typically requires two forms of ID and a written invitation for visitors to pass through its thorough security process. But that's not the case anymore for Meghan Markle, who "is waved right through."
"Harry has made it clear she's to be treated like everyone else who lives there," a source shared with Us Weekly. More evidence the couple is prepping for Markle's potential life as a princess? Sounds like it to us, especially in light of the Easter holiday they spent together just last weekend. But that's not all! Not only does the actress have access to Kensington Palace, she also has the ear of Prince Harry's most trusted aides, who are available to answer Markle's questions. "There have been many times where Meghan's been unsure of protocol," the source said. "And having access to Harry's aides has been a godsend."
Markle appears to have bonded with William and Kate, too, and an insider suggests that the royal couple have given Markle some tips and tricks to help her take on the royal spotlight. "She's very much been accepted into the family," said the insider. "They are so happy to see Harry happy." Just one more thing we have in common with Prince William and Duchess Kate, right? Now we'll just have to wait and see if Markle shows up as Harry's plus-one for Pippa Middleton's wedding in May!
