One of the questions a married couple probably gets asked the most is: "What were your 'firsts?'" You know: how they met, their first date, the first kiss, etc. After a while, most couples have their answers down to a rehearsed science. And even if Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn, who have been married for 13 years, do have their anectodes down pat, you would never know. The two sat down with E! News to answer their relationships firsts, and it's clear they still have as much fun as they did when they met.
10 Questions Everyone Will Ask After You Get Married
In the interview, Romijn and O'Connell revealed their first date was at the Blue Man Group in Las Vegas back in 2004, and their first kiss was that same night…along with their first fight. "[Our first fight] started that night and it hasn't ended," Romijn joked. "He won't apologize."
"We get into fights regularly, and we're like, 'Is this it? Is this the one that's going to make us get divorced?'" O'Connell added jokingly. "And then we're like, 'OK, let's forget it.'" Romijn hilariously tacked on that their natural conclusion is usually: "Let's go get something to eat." Stars, they're just like us!
When it comes to their 8-year-old twin daugthers Dolly and Charlie, it's O'Connell who's the pushover. "I don't argue," the Live With Kelly co-host hopeful said. "Even before they ask, I go, 'OK.'" The two also revealed their marriage secret is their kids. "We don't want to split up because we're too afraid that one of us will get stuck with them," he said. "I'm kidding!"
