Hollywood can be stressful. And with awards season officially kicking off with the Golden Globes this Sunday, stress can be at an all-time high—especially if you're a nominee. Ryan Reynolds recently opened up to Variety about his own issues with anxiety, but luckily, his wife Blake Lively helps calm him down.
The Golden Globe nominee for best actor in a comedy/musical for Deadpool revealed the major gig amplified his already existing anxiety. After all, comic book fans had huge expectations for the movie, and Reynolds didn't want to let anyone down.
"By the time we were in post, we'd been to Comic-Con, and people went crazy for it," he said. "The expectations were eating me alive. Blake helped me through that. I'm lucky to have her around just to keep me sane." These two are such a power couple!
It's not the first time Reynolds has publically gushed over his wife. When Reynolds received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he thanked Lively for it all. "I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there who is everything to me," he said. "You make everything better. You make everything better in my life. You've given me two of the most incredible children I've ever hoped to have. You've made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential. So thank you, I love you."
We can't wait to see these two kill it on the red carpet this weekend, and maybe Reynolds will make another swoon-worthy speech to his loving wife if he wins.
