Celebrity Couples Who Welcomed Babies in 2016
With so many famous couples having children this year, we're calling 2016 the year of celebrity babies. Think about it: All of your favorite celebs (from Blake Lively to Chrissy Teigen) gave birth this year, bringing more beauty and cuteness into the world. How could you forget about Blac Chyna's mannequin challenge delivery room video, or Boomer Phelps stealing the show at the Rio Olympic Games? Of course, some stars are more private than others when it comes to baby pictures, choosing instead to keep their kids out of the spotlight. Still, they're worth celebrating, so we've rounded up 20 celebrity couples who gave birth this year—starting in January all the way down to December. How can 2017 top this?
Rose Byrne & Bobby Cannavale
The first celebrity baby of the year kicked off with actors Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale. The couple, who have been dating since 2012, welcomed a baby boy, Rocco, on February 1st. When Colbert asked if Rocco was named after Saint Rocco, Cannavale said, "Actually yeah, patron saint of the sick … pretty sure. Could be wrong. I'm tired." Fair enough.
Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin
Not too long ago, Gotham co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin got engaged after dating for two years, but that wasn't the only good news the pair had in 2016. On March 2nd, the two welcomed their first child together, daughter Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan. Now, "She's about to crawl," McKenzie told

As for "Robert," it was a way to honor Phelps's coach, Bob Bowman, and his grandmother, Roberta.
