Martha is serious about her skin care routine. From regular facials to daily sunscreen use, her flawless completion is a testament to her regimen's effectiveness (as are her viral Instagram selfies). If you want to know the secret behind her glowing skin, you're in luck—Martha is open about the products she uses, as well as her go-to beauty brands.

While products are crucial, Martha's great skin is due just as much to process and discipline as it is to great formulas. And there's no one quite as disciplined as Martha. Her day begins at 5 a.m. when her first skin care product of the day (a face mask) is applied. After cleansing, she uses a roster of serums and creams, which are all followed up by sunscreen—a product she doesn't apply until she's ready to walk out the door.

In addition to effective formulas, Martha also believes in creating glowing skin from the inside out. She partly attributes her complexion to her daily vegetable-packed green juice and drinking tons of water—and in a recent Instagram post, she also lauded the skin-boosting effects of limiting alcohol and taking regular Pilates classes. Beyond her lifestyle habits, though, there are a few products Martha uses to achieve her flawless skin.

Martha's first beauty product of the day is this exfoliating mask—not a cleanser. She lets it sit for about 30 minutes before stepping into the shower. The four-in-one facial has a renewing, balancing, clearing, and hydrating effect that leaves the skin feeling clean and bright.

When Martha isn't exfoliating, she's hydrating with this nourishing gel mask. The formula acts as an antidote for skin often exposed to the elements, such as sun, wind burns, and extreme cold. It's perfect for avid gardeners like Martha.

This collagen mask is from one of Martha's all-time favorite skin care brands. Martha has been getting facials from Mario Badescu, based in New York City, for years. This draws out oil and purifies pores, leaving smoother, brighter looking skin.

After applying one of her face masks, Martha jumps into a hot shower to allow the steam to remove the product. From the neck down, she uses a foaming cleanser from Chanel, which gently purifies the skin and restores its natural suppleness.

Next, Martha tones. First in the form of a 20-second blast of cold water at the end of her shower and then with Mario Badescu facial spray, which restores dehydrated skin with a dewy glow.

Toners don't have to dry out your skin, which is why Martha uses this option formulated to provide hydration. It contains five essential oils that purify and invigorate the skin.

Martha loves serums, and she gets creative with them, layering any two of the following three. First up, SkinCeuticals' bestseller, which packs an antioxidant combination of ferulic acid and pure vitamin C and E.

Another vitamin C-rich option, Mario Badescu's formula delivers antioxidant-based defense against environmental stressors and free radicals.

Why apply a product before you need it? Martha doesn't add sunscreen until she's about to go outside. This one is her favorite SPFs—it's lightweight and has a tint that gives the skin a beautiful glow.

Clé de Peau Beaute Massage Cream

If her skin is feeling parched, Martha uses this hydrating cream, which is from another one of her favorite beauty brands—Clé de Peau Beauté. The luxurious formula has a rich texture that hydrates and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

To take everything off, Martha uses a very warm washcloth and one of two cleansers. This one from Susan Ciminelli melts away dead skin cells and removes blackheads and impurities.

Alternatively, Martha uses this Chanel cleanser, which she uses to wipe makeup from her face, neck, décolletage, and—if she's been on camera—her arms.

The cream Martha reaches for depends on her skin's needs, which is determined by various factors, like if she's had wine. One go-to is this hydrating option designed for oily skin. The lightweight formula minimizes pores and makes the complexion more matte.

Mario Badescu Revitalin Moisturizer

Another moisturizer beloved by Martha is from—of course—Mario Badescu. With lactic and amino acids, this product breaks down dead skin cells and simultaneously hydrates the skin.
