Bradley Cooper was full of surprises this weekend. He showed up unexpectedly to support Lady Gaga's performance on Saturday Night Live, and the day before, Cooper made another surprise appearance: at the nuptials of family friends Meaghan Carrigan, a creative producer for Tory Burch, and Nicholas Barnicle, a documentary filmmaker. We're having major déjà vu: Not only did the Weddings Crasher actor "crash" the wedding, but it was in the Washington, D.C. area, just like in the movie. What a great surprise!
The couple was getting married at Cooper's alma mater, Georgetown University, when the star dropped in on campus, even taking a few fun pictures with them. The wedding photographer, Lisa Boggs, shared a photo on Instagram of the bride and groom with their celebrity guest.
"Here's a sneak peek from Meg and Nick's private ceremony this past weekend! Their friend, Bradley Cooper, was visiting Georgetown and made sure to congratulate the newlyweds as they walked around campus. #thecoops."
The groom's father, journalist Mike Barnicle, was on MSNBC's Morning Joe Monday morning when he gave some more details about his son's big day. "That was in Georgetown right before the wedding with Bradley Cooper, who caught the bouquet," he explained to co-host Mika Brzezinski. She replied, "Of course he did."
Will there be a wedding in the future for Cooper? You know what they say about catching a bouquet…
