Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis's daughter could not have picked a better day to make her entrance. "There goes the neighborhood," Wilde captioned an Instagram photo announcing her baby's birth. "Daisy Josephine Sudeikis. Born, like a boss, on #internationaldayofthegirl."
That makes little miss Sudeikis's birthday October 11th, which was dubbed International Day of the Girl by the United Nations in 2011 to celebrate girls and raise awareness for the challenges they face. Fitting, considering Wilde has proudly spoken out about feminism in the past.
"I like to think he's already a little feminist," Olivia told Yahoo! Beauty about her two-year-old son, Otis, Daisy's big brother, in July. "I want to promote the idea that the definition of feminism is equality, and it's something that's not difficult to teach children because they are born with that sensibility. They are only taught to separate people and value them differently once they get older. Luckily, I'm just embracing the perspective he was born with."
Wilde even took the opportunity of Daisy's gender reveal to make a statement: "As someone who is about to have a daughter, this hits me deep in my core. #NeverTrump," Wilde tweeted last month alongside a political ad.
Sudeikis and Wilde got engaged in January 2013, but no wedding as of yet. "We are seriously connected," Wilde told NET-A-PORTER.com's The EDIT in February. "Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it's like, 'Oh, we're committed and promised already.'"
And Sudeikis seems to be more than happy parenting with Wilde, too, joking to E! News in February that "My own kid [makes me want more], because I made it with Olivia and that seems like a good cocktail. I'm all for it."
