Reem Acra Fall 2017 Wedding Dress Collection
The first wedding dress Reem Acra ever designed was for a friend, and she made it in less than three weeks. She had graduated from prestigious fashion schools like FIT and Esmod in Paris, got a job right after graduating as a designer in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but decided it was best for her to be in New York. Soon after she made her friend's wedding dress, she knew what she wanted to do with the rest of her life and her brand Reem Acra was born. With years of designing bridal gowns under her belt, Reem Acra continues to send stunning silhouettes down the runway (and aisle) and always wows us with her fresh designs. She unveiled her Fall 2017 wedding dress collection during Bridal Fashion Week. This season, she describes her collection as "fashion, sexy, and passionate." The New York City-based designer spent 350 hours on her new bridal collection, and you can that in her gowns that have such fine details. For Fall 2017, Acra used "5 million beads and pearls" along with a new technique of "closing with bows rather than buttons." Acra envisions a Mediterranean bride in this collection who is "a fashionable bride, someone who appreciates something unique and modern." See Acra's new collection here!
