It's official: Adam Levine is a dad! Yesterday, he and wife Behati Prinsloo welcomed baby girl Dusty Rose Levine, and we've got all the details on her arrival.
"Adam was in the delivery room holding Behati's hands," a source told E! News. "They both cried when she was born. She is beautiful. She looks like Behati."
The source said that the baby is healthy and happy, and that the parents are still speechless. But some of their famous friends have already started gushing over baby Dusty Rose, including Gwen Stefani, Levine's former co-host on The Voice. Stefani appeared on The Ellen Show and shared that she had already seen the baby, albeit through her iPhone screen. "Adam actually has been FaceTiming me all day because he just had his baby. She's so cute!" the singer revealed on the show.
Levine and Prinsloo married in 2014 after two years of dating, and had close friend and actor Jonah Hill serve as their officiant at their Cabo San Lucas wedding. The couple announced they were expecting in March of 2016, and the following month they found out they were having a baby girl. Levine couldn't contain his excitement on becoming a dad, posting Instagram photos of their journey leading up to the birth of Dusty. "It's awesome," he told E!. "I'm going to be a dad. S—t I'm excited. I'm going to be a f—cking dad."
As we find out more details about their first child, we can only imagine that she has a bright future ahead of her. Congrats to the new parents!
