It's been three years since Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's beautiful wedding in Lake Como (see our exclusive photos!), and ten years since they met on the set of Legend's music video for "Stereo," in 2006. To celebrate the major relationship milestones, Teigen took to Snapchat, naturally.
"10 years ago, I met the best man on this planet," the model and cookbook author said in the Snapchat video, which showed her embracing and kissing her singer-songwriter husband. "I love you. Happy anniversary."
Their baby girl, Luna, also made an appearance in the Snapchat story, donning a deer filter along with her mom.
The Legend family is in New York City for Fashion Week, so the couple took the opportunity to go out together—presumably to celebrate. Teigen shared some shots of "date night," posing again with Legend, both dressed up and Teigen flaunting her cushion-cut diamond engagement ring.
Teigen and Legend are famously open, often sharing glimpses into their life together on Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. In a recent interview with ET, Legend revealed that Twitter actually played a part in falling in love with his future wife. "I fell in love with her over the phone because she is good with those 140 characters," he said. "We would talk on the phone, and I started to fall in love with how engaging and witty and funny she is. And I think that's when I really started to know that this was the kind of person I wanted to around a lot. Once we started spending more time together between tour stops and all this other stuff, we realized we had such a connection—and then it blossomed into a marriage and a baby!"
This isn't the first time the two have sent public anniversary wishes to one another: For their one-year, Teigen posted a photo of the couple with dancers at a cabaret show in Paris, captioning it, "took john to see other boobs for our anniversary to make up for the 364 days of the year I'm insufferable (ps they are insanely talented and not just boobs)." Later, she tweeted, "My favorite part about my anniversary dinner was the girl who came to our table who john used to bone and also the sea bass." Ha!
And on their second anniversary, John hired ballerinas to give his bride a private show. "My secret love, the ballet, gifted to me by my not-so-secret love," Teigen captioned the photo of the dancers. "There is never a show running when we are in town and I am always left with just my ballet dreams. You are perfect. I love you, my bear. Happy anniversary!!"
Here's to many more years of marriage—and sweet, hilarious anniversary messages on social media!
