Hearful.ly & The Tory Burch Foundation
If you want your wedding to support a good cause and share your happiness by helping others, Heartful.ly is the perfect registry destination for you. Through partnerships with nonprofits in the U.S. and around the world, Heartful.ly empowers couples and their communities to fund life-changing projects through their wedding registry. Heartful.ly has partnerships with more than 50 nonprofits on five continents and is growing weekly! (If a couple is already passionate about a specific nonprofit, the team at Heartful.ly will work with the organization to add them to the platform.) After your wedding, you'll receive an impact update that illustrates how your registry made positive impact in the lives of others. Katie Glantz, one of the site's founders, is now part of the Tory Burch Foundation, which has helped the registry grow and expand their business around the world.
Charitable Wedding Gifts
Working with Bloomerent for your wedding flowers is a great way to ensure that your arrangements won't go to waste post-wedding. Bloomerent will connect you with a florist who will list your centerpieces and arrangements into their online database. Another event occurring around the same time as your wedding will "opt in" to your wedding, and your florist will repurpose your flowers and deliver them to the other event. All you have to do is choose your flowers! Not only will you save money by sharing your flowers, but you'll ensure they get a second life at another wedding or special occasion.
Zola and Michael C. Fina
I recently stopped by the Zola Townhouse on Crosby Street in New York City to celebrate their partnership with Michael C. Fina. With Michael C Fina moving to a totally online store, their partnership with Zola will provide brides and grooms with access to a best-in-class, Universal Wedding Registry experience.
Butterfly Bakeshop catered the dessert at the event, and I love how they interpreted the beautiful Anna Weatherly china into their cake design. I love the idea of couples incorporating their grandmother's china or the rental china that their using for your big day into their own wedding cake!
