New York Sour
Here's a whiskey-based cocktail fit for East Coast brides and grooms, by Tom Macy of Clover Club bar in Brooklyn, New York.

- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
- 1/4 oz orange juice (optional)
- Red wine
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and fill with ice. Shake and strain into coupe or martini glass. Float about 1/2 ounce red wine over the top using a barspoon.
