Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette
Sweet strawberries and tart balsamic dressing are natural pairings for fresh baby spinach leaves.

- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 7 ounces baby spinach
- 8 ounces strawberries, hulled and halved (quartered if large)
- 1 teaspoon nigella seeds
Whisk together vinegar and salt in a small bowl. Add oil in a slow, steady steam, whisking until emulsified. Place spinach and strawberries in a large bowl. Add vinaigrette; toss. Sprinkle with nigella seeds. Serve immediately.
