Who says you can't serve snow cones at a wedding dessert buffet?
Bring sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Boil until sugar is dissolved; let cool.
Combine sugar syrup, tangerine juice, 1/2 cup water, salt, and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Pour into an 8-by-8-inch baking pan; freeze until firm, at least 4 hours or overnight. Just before serving, scrape up ice with a fork to break up; scoop into paper cones.
