Peach and Chamomile Tonic

Chilled chamomile tea gets fragrant star anise and sweet peach slices, creating a drink that is calming and refreshing.

  • 8 ounces cold water
  • 1 teaspoon chamomile tea leaves or 1 tea bag
  • 2 whole star anise, plus more for garnish
  • 4 slices fresh peach
  • Honey to taste


  1. Bring water to a boil. Add tea and star anise; steep 5 minutes. Strain tea; chill. Fill glass with ice. Add tea, peach slices, and honey. Garnish with star anise; serve.
