Happy Anniversary, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski! The always-adorable actors have been married six years today, and in honor of the occasion, we've rounded up their best couple moments. The two met in 2008, started dating shortly after, and got engaged in 2009. After tying the knot in the summer of 2010, the couple welcomed baby girl Hazel in 2014, and they recently announced they're expecting again! From hilarious pranks to cute quotes, here are the couple's best moments.
Krasinski talking about meeting Blunt for the first time.
"It was one of those things where I wasn't really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I'm going to take my time in L.A.," Krasinski said on Ellen. "Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, 'Oh God, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.' As I shook her hand I went, 'I like you,'" he said. "It's one of those things where as soon as you meet someone you kind of know." Aww, we love a good "love at first sight" story.
… and dishing on his proposal to Blunt.
"It was very casual," Krasinski told Access Hollywood. "I was nervous and the whole nine yards. She did cry after I cried and we cried and then everyone around us was crying. Then, I think people weren't really sure what was going on, but they were crying because we were crying. But it was great. At the end of the day she said yes which is great. It's a big part of this whole thing." OK, now we're crying!
When they proved the couple that pranks together stays together.
The couple hilariously pranked their friends Jimmy and Molly Kimmel as part of an ongoing prank war between the two funny men, because why not?
Blunt doesn't look too happy with this ice bucket challenge disguised as a prank, but we know she forgave her husband eventually.
And when Krasinski reflected on the amazingness that is his wife.
"For me, the best days of my life started when I met my wife—that's the truth, it's not just me saying it because it sounds nice on a card," he told The Daily Beast. "She's one of the coolest people, she's so talented, she's beautiful, and she's certainly out of my league. When you're lucky enough to meet your one person, then life takes a turn for the best. It can't get better than that."
They make each other stronger.
"Meeting John really changed my life," Blunt told InStyle. "When I feel the support I have from him, I feel invincible. There's someone behind you on your good days, and someone in front of you on your bad days."
And they make an adorable family.
Krasinski posted this photo of their daughter Hazel, a few months after she was born.
