8 Things We're Loving Right Now
Working at Martha Stewart Weddings means stumbling upon incredible finds every single day. So, each week, one of our editors will spotlight a few of their current obsessions—from a cool stationer to a fresh new baker to an under-the-radar wedding-dress designer to must-have accessories for your rehearsal dinner—to hopefully help inspire your own wedding day. This week, Assistant Editor Becky Mickel shares what she's loving now.
Though you might not be able to spring for a bottle of France's finest, you can entertain with these affordable but chic coupes: For under $200, you can toast with a party of 12, and that's a price tag your gift givers can get behind ($64 for 4-piece set).
The Jessica Alba for Sprinkles Collaboration
Finalizing your dessert bar? Here's a solution that's doubly sweet. Sprinkles bakeshop collaborated with Jessica Alba to create a chocolate-and-vanilla marble cupcake topped with milk chocolate cream cheese frosting and chocolate and vanilla sprinkles. Dubbed "Swirl," all proceeds will be donated to Baby2Baby, which provides low-income children with diapers, clothing and other basic necessities. Now that's a serious sugar high! Available at select locations nationwide through November 30 ($42 for 12).
"All in Good Taste" by Kate Spade
Always striving to be the hostess with the mostest, I can't wait to get my hands on Kate Spade's new manual that covers conundrums from how to shuck an oyster to the 101 of Instagram etiquette. Plus, Mrs. Kelly Lilien of the blog Mrs. Lilien contributed to the hardback, and as a longtime devotee of her musings, I'm eager to see how she infused her penchant for femininity and wit into the pages ($28).
Rosanna's Belle Boudoir Le Langage De Tray
I'm always in the market for stylish catchalls where I can drop keys, a tube of lipstick, or notes for my roommates, that are as pretty as they are functional. This tray (part of Rosanna's larger "boudoir collection" covered in Parisian ephemera) does just that. And at only $15 each, it'd make a great gift for bridesmaids ($15).
SugarWish's Salty Stock
Though I'm always jonesing for something sweet, I can still get behind savory snacks, like the new offerings from online edible gift messenger, Sugarwish. Now "wish" recipients can fill their box with wasabi peas, corn nuts, roasted almonds, pepitas, banana chips, and more, if Sour Patch Watermelons, Peanut M&Ms, and Skittles aren't their thing. The light-blue box of treats would be a fun surprise for flower girls and ring bearers (from $25 each for 4 quarter-pound bags of snacks).
LVE: (John) Legend Vineyard Exclusive for Raymond Vineyards
His voice has opened many a reception dance floor since "All of Me" topped charts in 2013, but here's another way to give your day a dose of Legend. Stock bars with his limited edition "LVE" wines that launched this month in collaboration with Raymond Vineyards in St. Helena, California on sale now (Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, $85, and Chardonnay, $45). If only a glass could impart soulful vocals to grooms everywhere.
BHLDN's Inaglio Serving Set
If your cake-serving set doesn't run in the family, go for a vintage make, like this duo by BHLDN, that looks like an heirloom—and could very well become one some day ($68).
