A classic wedding venue is reopened and primed for a swanky soirée.

Situated on the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, this 1930s ballroom has been party central to everyone from Frank Sinatra to Keith Richards. And now, following a five-year renovation, it can be your celebratory stomping ground, too. (Wedding rates from $400 per person for five hours, which includes passed Champagne, hors d’oeuvres, premium bar, three-course dinner, Sylvia Weinstock wedding cake, and petits fours with coffee service.)
Peek through the Preciosa crystal curtains and you’ll spot New York’s finest: the Empire State building, Central Park, even downtown’s One World Trade Center. The sweeping views are almost outdone by the room’s Art Deco glamour, starting with the rotating parquet dance floor, where you’ll sway cheek-to-cheek underneath a chandelier of teardrop crystals and in front of up to 250 guests.
Here are more fun ways to fill your New York City scene.
