Photography: Bryan Gardner

Source: Martha Stewart Weddings, Summer 2014

Introduction

Supplies

Flat-bottomed plastic cups
Plastic tray (available at displays2go.com)
Beans or coins
Flowers (available at gourmetsweetbotanicals.com)

How-To

  1. Place cups on tray and fill each with beans or coins to weigh down.
  2. Carefully pour nearly boiling water into the tray until it’s half an inch deep (a high temp will keep the ice from getting cloudy).
  3. Place flowers on the water, spacing them as desired.
  4. Freeze the tray for two hours or until solid.
  5. Remove the weights and pour hot water in the cups to loosen and remove them. Add prepared cocktails to the tray and serve immediately.
