  • Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour over gin, Campari and vermouth. Using tongs, place the orange peel over a gas flame or kitchen torch until fragrant and the edges are blackened, 5 to 10 seconds. Garnish drink with peel. Top with seltzer, if desired, and stir with a swizzle stick or straw until the glass becomes frosty. Serve immediately.
