Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish's Mexican Fiesta
Bienvenidos a Montana
The start to Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish's four-day wedding weekend all began on Thursday, but the team arrived on Monday to prep, design, and create a party for every night. First up? A Mexican fiesta, a nod to Michael's heritage. From hand-painting wood-plank signage (left) to potting cacti, we offered the couple an authentic and playful welcome party.
Oversize tissue-paper flowers in desert shades lined the shelves of the Blue Canteen for a bright backdrop.
We set out Fujifilm Instax instant cameras were for guests to snap their own memories. They were available throughout the weekend, with more film at the front desk.
Colorful maracas adorned each table as a nod to the Mexican theme.
Packing a Punch
Partygoers sipped on fresh juices and horchata, a traditional Mexican rice drink. (And our signs really lent the stand an authentic feel!)
Hand-crafted crepe paper flowers and gold-edged terracotta pots filled with succulents provided the bulk of the fiesta's décor.
The Host and Hostess
Kate (in a custom Proenza Schouler dress and Jimmy Choo heels) and Michael welcomed guests to the kick-off event. "From then on, I don't think anyone stopped smiling," Michael says.
