Coconut Syrup with Rum

Use this recipe in our Classic Coconut Cake.

  • Yield: Makes 1 cup

  • 1/2 cup cream of coconut, such as Coco Lopez
  • 1/4 cup white rum
  • 1/4 cup warm water


  1. Stir all ingredients together until smooth.

Cook's Notes

Substitute water for the rum to make a non-alcoholic syrup.
