Anna and Timothy
After a decade of dating, Tim Lucas proposed to Anna Thomas at their Brooklyn home under the watchful gazes of their cats, Sid and Pickles. The couple's September 1, 2012, DIY affair at Costanoa Lodge, a pristine coastal resort in Pescadero, California, was created to feel like summer camp, complete with outdoor movies, friendship bracelets, s'mores, and hiking.

“The California coastline is amazing,” says Tim. “As someone who grew up on the East Coast, it’s the kind of place I couldn’t even have imagined, and it meant so much to share it with family who had never been there before.”
