Brandy Simple Syrup

This recipe goes with Vanilla and Apricot Wedding Cake Recipe.

  • Yield: Makes about 1 1/2 cups

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 6 tablespoons Armagnac


  1. Bring sugar and the water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in Armagnac; let cool. Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
