Brandy Simple Syrup
This recipe goes with Vanilla and Apricot Wedding Cake Recipe.
- Yield: Makes about 1 1/2 cups

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 6 tablespoons Armagnac
Bring sugar and the water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in Armagnac; let cool. Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
