Can you say "crowd-pleaser"? Everyone will clamor for these savory yet sweet, nutty mouthfuls.

- 12 strips bacon, cut into 4-inch pieces, chilled
- 24 roasted and peeled chestnuts
- 1/4 cup light-brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Wrap bacon around chestnuts; secure with toothpicks. Mix sugar with the water in a small bowl. Place chestnuts on rimmed baking sheet; brush with glaze. Bake until bacon is crispy, about 20 minutes, brushing with glaze midway through. Remove from oven, glaze again, and serve immediately.
