An All-White Traditional Destination Wedding in Florida
The Bride and Groom
Surrounded by loved ones, a Canadian couple fly to Florida for a lavish destination celebration that brims with elegance, nostalgia, and one very pared-down palette.
Cecily, in Oscar de la Renta, with her groom, in a bespoke tuxedo. "My dress was the first one I tried on," she says.
Leaving for the Church
Cecily and her bridesmaids leave for the church.
Arriving at the Church
The bride's ride -- her sister's cream 1964 Mercedes 220 SE -- arrives in front of Windsor's chapel for the ceremony.
The bride, with her sister and niece, smile for a pre-ceremony shot.
Father of the Bride
Cecily's father, wearing a Campbell plaid kilt to pay homage to the family's Scottish roots, escorts his daughter into the church.

The Bride's Bouquet
Her bouquet of white peonies is wrapped with hemp.
The Wedding Ceremony
The couple exchange vows; at the beginning of the service, guests were treated to a local vocalist's version of Joshua Radin's "Today" -- Cecily says, "We were inspired by Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's wedding video; I fell in love with the song and was determined to fit it in even though Joshua Radin himself wasn't in the budget."
The newlyweds seal the deal with a kiss.
The Bride's Shoes
Cecily bought her gold Christian Louboutin heels during her "sisterette" (a family-only take on a bachelorette) weekend in Paris.
The Groom's Attire
James donned a floppy, oversize bow tie for the occasion. "I had my brother tie it for good luck," he says.
The entire bridal party poses for a photo. The bridesmaids strike a pretty pose in custom gowns from Pink Tartan. "I always wanted an all-white wedding. It's so chic," says the bride.
Cutting the Wedding Cake
Cecily and James cut their three-tier cake (lemon and red velvet with vanilla buttercream frosting). "After dinner, we went downstairs for dessert and dancing. It had more of a nightclub vibe," she says.
The Reception Entrance
Windsor's walk, lit with lanterns, ushered guests into the party space.
Tall white taper candles and silver urns filled with dendrobium orchids keep the dinner tables spare and sophisticated. "It was magical," says Cecily.
