Flower Girl Basket
This basket of pink roses makes the flower girl's job easy and pretty.
A pouch folded from colorful paper is a pretty alternative to a traditional basket; add a ribbon handle and bow, and it's ready for the flower girl's important role.
For a playful way to distinguish the flower girls' dresses from the bridesmaids', sew a premade ribbon flower to the skirt of each dress (preferably ones with little or no adornments); these store-bought daffodils are made of wired ribbon. Then form stems and leaves from 3/8- and 7/8-inch-wide green grosgrain ribbons.
Paper Cone for Flower Girls
Instead of a traditional flower-girl basket, why not try a paper cone? Besides being inexpensive, it can be tailored to complement the flowers or your littlest attendant's dress.
This sweet flower-girl accessory is a wonderful option for a youngster who may not be ready to sprinkle petals from a basket.
Autumnal Flower Girl Basket
As a fitting nod to the season, substitute dried leaves for petals in your flower girl's basket. If fall foliage isn't abundant when you wed, you can order pressed leaves online.
We lined this pint-size basket with a cotton fabric. Using scissors, cut a large round of fabric and a slit on opposite sides to accommodate handles, then place in basket. Wrap silk ribbon around, and tie in a bow.
Cardigan with Cute Buttons
Customize a flower girl's sweater—and match it to your palette—by replacing the buttons with new or antique ones in winsome colors or shapes.
