There's nothing quite like a spring wedding. The very season is a symbol of your impending marriage—your wedding marks the beginning of a new phase of your life, and spring is seen as the time of renewal. Metaphors aside, couples also love the colors and florals associated with this particular wedding season, and celebrations are often filled with pastel hues and cascading blooms, transforming ordinary venues into the prettiest of garden parties. The best part? You don't need to actually throw a spring- or garden-themed event to take advantage of the season's décor highlights.
Whether you choose an in-bloom invitation suite, choose peonies or tulips for centerpieces, or decide to serve fruity fare, there's a way to embrace the best of the season throughout your ceremony and reception. The following photos (all from real couple's weddings!) prove just that. From sugar flower-adorned cakes and blush pink cocktails to some of the prettiest floral installations we've ever seen, these fêtes kept the in-bloom inspiration coming. If you were on the fence about deciding on the best time to get hitched, these ideas just might convince to you to book your venue in the spring.
After all, there's a reason why wedding season kicks off during this time—it's just such a beautiful part of the year! Now that winter is finally over, you and your guests will be able to mingle, toast, and dance outdoors (which is a celebration in of itself!). But it's important to note that they work just as well inside, too, if you're planning for an earlier part of the season. However you decide to incorporate spring into your big day, you can't go wrong with these ethereal elements.
