Capture these delicate symbols of winter's beauty in dough, and share them with your wedding guests. Gingerbread cookies, piped with royal icing and highlighted with sugar and nonpareils, are perfect snacks for the post-reception ride home or the day after the wedding. Package them in clear acetate containers banded with ribbon and a quilling-paper label (ours reads "A love like no other"), both held on with double-sided tape.

Love the cookie idea especially with a snowflake theme. I do think it's pretty scantly to just give guests one cookie!!! I would probably provide them with several in a cute tin of sorts. I too am getting married in Dec (New Year's Eve) and Im thinking about using this as an idea. It actually might be a dessert option too!

Hi tonnof! Congrats, I'm getting married this December too! I found this website for great little containers like these: www.theboxdepot.com. Hope that helps!

I am getting married this December (2008). I would love to have this as our favor since our theme is "Snowflakes", but I can't seem to find the containers. Any suggestions as to where I might find something like what is in the picture? Thanks.
