Cut and Color

Cut your hair two weeks in advance so it won't look too blunt, says Boston-based hairstylist and makeup artist Anne Marie Laurendale. Have color touched up now as well to give it time to settle in.

This is a great tip! You don't want your hair to look unnatural so it's good to do it a few weeks before so it has time to soften. You also want your makeup to look natural so choose a makeup artist who will go for pretty but subtle instead of bold. http://beauty-to-you.com
