Lord Baltimore Filling


Use this recipe to make our Lord Baltimore Wedding Cake.

  • Yield: Makes 4 1/2 cups

  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
  • 2 cups Old-Time Favorites: Seven-Minute Frosting
  • 1/2 cup drained candied cherries, rinsed well and quartered


  1. Stir together coconut, walnuts, and orange zest in a small bowl. Put frosting in a medium bowl, and gently fold in coconut mixture until combined. Gently fold in cherries. Use immediately.
