Sparkling Ginger Lemonade

This fizzy delight gets its kick from honey, fresh ginger, lemon juice, and club soda.

  • Yield: Makes 2 quarts

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 4 cups club soda, chilled
  • 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, honey, and ginger. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes. Place a mesh strainer over a bowl and strain liquid, discarding the ginger. Transfer mixture to a pitcher and cool completely; store in the refrigerator. Stir in the soda and lemon juice before serving. Serve over ice.
