Less than a week after accepting a proposal from Joel Schiffman, Today show co-host Hoda Kotb is getting down to business planning her wedding. The morning talk show star opened up to People, revealing, "I sort of think we probably want to do it sooner than later, because what are we waiting for? And I kind of think we might do a destination wedding." It's easy to see why Kotb is excited to tie the knot; the television phenomenon has previously gushed about her relationship, stating, "it's one of the most natural relationships I've ever been in...I'm so happy, I really am." She's also described how Schiffman is, "the guy that gives me butterflies at 50 years old."

As for where a potential destination wedding may occur? "We may go back to the place we were engaged. We haven't thought about it too much, but we might do something like that. The place is special to us." Fans of the couple will remember that Schiffman popped the question to Kotb while the two were enjoying an intimate dinner on the beach while on vacation.

In addition to figuring out a venue, Kotb has also already thought about the aesthetic she wants for her day, and how bridesmaids will play into that. "All I want it to be is fun and happy and I just want everybody to feel easy breezy. No coordinated bridesmaids," said Kotb to People. "Come as you are. That's the theme of the rest of my life."

When it comes to the wedding-day fashion, if the bride's engagement ring is any indication, her style will be chic and glamorous. Kotb's ring features what appears to be a massive radiant-cut bezel-set stone, surrounded by a halo of pavé sapphires. The band is also covered in pavé diamonds to give the design even more sparkle, notes People. "The diamond part is square and around it, it looks like a stop sign. And it's blue on the edge. Sapphires? I don't know. But I love it."
