According to actor John Krasinski, the secret to his healthy relationship to wife Emily Blunt is simple—he was her fan from the start. In a recent interview with E! News, Krasinski shared that he and his wife balance work and marriage by continuing to be each other's biggest supporters.

"I gotta say it just sort of happens organically," Krasinski said. "It's one of those things where I was a huge fan of hers before I even met her, so I continue to be a huge fan of hers in everything she does. So we're just extremely supportive, we get what the job is and that you gotta travel and do some stuff, but it's always about coming back home and being together, it's the most important thing."

Krasinski and Blunt, who tied the knot back in 2010, opened up about the initial stages of their relationship in a 2018 interview with The Hollywood Reporter. During the interview, the couple agreed on the meals they had on their first date, but had trouble remembering who asked out who for the occasion. "I think it was me," Blunt said. However, Krasinski challenged her claim stating, "No. It was me asking for a while and you took some time, and then we finally had a date."

While those details were hazy, Krasinski's memory of their first encounter at a restaurant in 2008 was as clear as day. "It was one of those things where I wasn't really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I'm going to take my time in L.A.," he said while on Ellen. "Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, 'Oh god, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.' As I shook her hand I went, 'I like you!'" Now, almost one decade into their marriage, it is safe to say that their humble beginnings have made for a strong foundation for their marriage today.
