Pre-ceremony, the sparkly 1920s-inspired gown was actually housed in its own hotel room.

At this point, we know almost every detail about Jennifer Lawrence's wedding to New York City gallery owner Cooke Maroney. The Rhode Island nuptials, held at the historic Belcourt Mansion, included a star-studded guest list, including Kris Jenner, Sienna Miller, and Adele, most notably. Up until now, however, one key detail has been kept well under wraps: what the actress actually wore during the festivities.

Days after the bride's nuptials, rumors suggested that Dior was responsible for her wedding-day ensemble—but we didn't get a peek at the gown until Elle UK debuted a shot of the garment. Though we don't yet know the ensemble's silhouette (this image shows just the top!), the dress appears to have a sparkly illusion neckline with beaded trim and slightly-puffed sleeves.

The image also gave fans insight into another key aspect of the actress' big-day look: Lawrence styled her hair into an updo to complement the high neckline of the dress. Another fun detail about the gown? Refinery 29 reports that the design, created especially for Lawrence by Dior's creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, had its own hotel room on the estate, after it reportedly arrived via private jet.

It's not surprising that Lawrence chose the house of Dior to create her wedding dress (she's the face of the brand, after all!). Less than a month prior to her nuptials, the actress was photographed outside the brands's SS20 runway show in Paris, decked out in a head-to-toe Dior outfit, notes Refinery29. Fans of the actress also likely remember that Lawrence was wearing a Dior gown when she tripped on the stairs on her way to accept an Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.
