A Stylish, Secluded Wedding at a 128-Year-Old Finca in Mallorca, Spain

A Lucky Find

Pomme and Daniel found the perfect venue—Finca Son Togores—for their nuptials by chance. "That day, we already visited eight venues and nothing really worked in our favor—plus it was raining!" says the bride. "We were driving on the highway and saw this magnificent finca from afar. We were shown around by one of the gardeners and everything about it ticked our boxes—and then we came across the majestic oak tree at the end of the country road. We knew this was it."

Dress Success

When it came time to shop for a wedding dress, Pomme knew exactly where to start: "I've always wanted a Naeem Khan wedding dress," she says. And the embellished deep V-neck sheath she chose was an instant winner: "I literally tried it on and my eyes lit up. I knew it was the one! I tried on a few others for fun, but my mind has always been set."

She kept her jewelry simple—just a pair of stud earrings—so it wouldn't compete with the gown, and finished her look with Stuart Weitzman block heels and a Joyce Jackson veil.

Just Peachy

The couple chose a color palette of pale orange and peach shades with darker accents that complemented the natural surroundings at the finca. Pomme's full bouquet of peonies, scabiosa stellata, tulips, dahlias, and ranunculus—from florist Brigitta Norrenbrock at Flores Mallorca—incorporated a variety of tones that nodded to the bridal party's attire and the reception décor.

Prints Charming

Pomme encouraged her bridesmaids to choose their own gowns, requesting only that their dresses' colors and prints complement each other. The finished look included solid and floral gowns in a variety of pink tones and silhouettes.

Under the Oak

The oak tree that Pomme and Daniel loved from their first visit to the property became the site of their outdoor ceremony; floral arrangements on the ground created a focal point for the exchange of vows. The focal point also made it onto their stationery. "The way we discovered the tree was by surprise, so we decided to incorporate the mystery element into our invitations," says Pomme of the suite's custom illustration, which the words "Meet us under the tree" were placed just below—no address, just time and pick-up location.

Flower Power

Pomme and her florist kept the ceremony and reception flowers simple, but impactful. "The thought of having flowers everywhere would be my absolute dream," says Pomme. "As much as I loved the idea, I feel like it's a waste to go overboard, as they get thrown away after." She and her florist worked carefully to choose plants and blooms that would make a big impression with their quality, not quantity.

Parental Guidance

Pomme's mother and father walked her down the aisle together, as a live guitarist performed "Heartbeats" by Jose Gonazalez. During the ceremony, two of the couple's friends shared readings from Ernest Hemingway and the 14th Dalai Lama.

Happily Ever After

The non-religious ceremony didn't follow a traditional script, but the personal touches and humor made it that much more special to the couple. "We wrote our own vows and it was a lovely concoction of romance, happiness, and comedy," says the duo. "Our celebrant—our best friend, Matt Love, also known as Father Love—rocked our ceremony script. It was just full of love and laughter—the best day of our lives!"

In Love

Backed by beautiful views of the surrounding scenery, Pomme and Dan sealed their vows with a kiss before exiting the ceremony to "Cheerleader" by OMI.

Field of Dreams

The newlyweds stole away for a few minutes during the cocktail hour as their photographer captured candid and posed portraits of them against the deep green trees and dried grass of the property.

The cocktail menu included local wines, an aperol spritz, and an elderflower gin cocktail, which guests enjoyed alongside canapés from Fosh Catering. Live guitar music enhanced the setting and the happy atmosphere.

Ready to Party

After their portraits, Pomme and Dan joined their guests by the pool to mingle and share a bite before dinner.

A Secluded Spot

Inside a walled courtyard of the finca, guests sat at long tables surrounded by tropical plants and trees. Low centerpieces of flowers in warm coral, peach, and red tones contrasted with the rustic stone and dark green foliage. "We didn't want to do much to the venue as it was already beautiful," says the couple. "We wanted the color palette of the wedding to complement the venue, so it was an easy task to work with."

Mixed Materials

Pomme and Daniel complemented the flower choices and natural elements with wooden tables and cross-back chairs, swapping full tablecloths for a simple napkin under each plate. Glass plates and crystal added an extra gleam to the place settings.

The Happy Couple

The couple entered the reception to the dance-party classic, "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan. They had a friend put together a dinner playlist and DJ the after-party, and kept the atmosphere relaxed by skipping solo dances with their parents.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

For Pomme and Daniel, one of the most magical parts of the day was spending time with loved ones who traveled from all over the world to share a celebratory meal with them.

A special entertainment moment came later in the evening. Though Pomme hadn't expected to take the microphone during the reception, she didn't have a choice. "My grandmother suddenly stood up to sing, and then in turn I was also forced by my family to sing," she says. "Unpracticed, and definitely not in the grand plan!"
