Lee Petra Grebenau Fall 2020 Wedding Dress Collection
The best part about Lee Petra Grebenau's wedding-dress collections? Season after season, the designer debuts dynamic, varied series in which there is something for absolutely everyone. There's a reason for this: the creative seamlessly melds styles, resulting in garments that speak to brides who define themselves in all kinds of ways. The gist? A bohemian bride-to-be is bound to be as thrilled about a Lee Petra Grebenau bridal gown as a modern woman of the hour is.
It's this cross-style approach to design that has put Grebenau on the map—and a main reason why we look forward to her new creations come every Bridal Fashion Week. Her latest and greatest certainly did not disappointment. The label's most recent lineup definitely appeals to many a bride-to-be—but it's decidedly more trend-focused. Titled "Fields of Pearls," the series was full of of-the-moment elements (think cold-shoulder sleeves, belts, and plenty of minis!) and next-level embellishments. Though pearls were (obviously!) the star of the show, crystal beadwork, sequins, and sequins all made an appearance, resulting in a collection with tons of shimmer and shine.
While the majority of these designs will speak to a woman looking for a gown with lots of drama, there were plenty of classic renditions within Grebeanau's newest oeuvre, as well. From classic strapless satin ball gowns (made just the right amount sexy thanks to a mid-thigh slit) to romantic A-lines with sheer long sleeves, these fresh-off-the-runway fashions are proof that a designer can successfully create garments that work across multiple aesthetics.
