Mira Zwillinger Fall 2020 Wedding Dress Collection
Mira Zwillinger is bridal mainstay for many reasons, but we'd argue that the label's incredible illusion work is its signature move—one that's been drawing brides-to-be to each and every collection for years. The brand, which is owned and operated by the Tel Aviv-based mother-daughter duo, Mira and Lihi Zwillinger, is about as ornate as it gets (think dynamic 3D appliqués, sparkling metallic lace, and reflective fabrics), but never feels overwhelming. Why, you ask? Barely-there, illusion fabrics like translucent mesh balance out the opulence, making bride's look as if their bodies are physically sparkling. In other words, the designers at Mira Zwillinger ensure that the bride wears the dress—or, more importantly, they ensure that the dress doesn't wear the bride.
That's a tenuous balance to strike—and it's an even more impressive one if you've been following the brand's collections over the last few years (a recent series was created using reflective fabric modeled to look like glass shards!). But season after season, Mira Zwillinger finds it. We'd say the same about the company's latest collection, dubbed "Make a Wish," which just debuted at Bridal Fashion Week in New York City. Complete with incredible detailing and statement silhouettes, it's clear that that the brand's signature moves (beautifully sheer silhouettes, included!) are here to stay—and that's definitely a good thing.
Don't just take our word for it, though. You can discover the Fall 2020 Mira Zwillinger wedding dress collection for yourself on the slides ahead: As you're about to find out, it's best suited for the bold, energetic bride who isn't afraid of showing a little bit of sparkling skin.
