Not only is American fashion designer Zac Posen, 38, renowned in the world of high-fashion, he's carved out a name for himself when it comes to bridal design as well. Notably, he was the mastermind behind Princess Eugenie's second wedding dress at her October 2018 nuptials to Jack Brooksbank. For the party, Posen outfitted the royal in a draped peachy-pink number with long sleeves, and the gown quickly earned him a much-deserved royal stamp of approval. Of the artist, Princess Eugenie has called him "such a cool, fun, brilliant designer and friend." With a review that glowing, it's no wonder Pronovias Group sought out Zac Posen to team up with them on a collection called "White One."
Part of a three-year deal, this debut collection for "Zac Posen for White One" features 20 bridal gowns and 10 bridal accessories. The partnership with the Barcelona-based luxury label, aimed at millennial brides, seeks to marry high-fashion and affordability. Exquisite fabrication, contemporary silhouettes, and attention to detail that rivals the best are just a few highlights of the looks Posen debuted on the runway at New York Bridal Fashion Week.
When the partnership was announced, the former Project Runway judge shared that he believed the collection would "offer signature one of a kind designs for brides globally." Amandine Ohayon, CEO of Pronovias Group added that "Zac's beautiful glamorous aesthetics combined with our bridal savoir-faire will bring a unique offer to the market: high-fashion design combined with high-quality bridal fit, at an affordable price-point."
